We collect profile information used to provide recruitment services and, where applicable, recruiter discovery. This may include your name, professional headline, location and work preferences, employment history, education, skills, qualifications, resume or CV, portfolio or profile links, and salary expectations, work authorization, or availability where you choose to provide them.
Matching and Indexing Data
We may generate matching signals from your profile, resume, preferences, and platform activity to help identify relevant roles and enable candidate search. Please do not deliberately include sensitive or special-category information unless we specifically request it and can handle it lawfully.
Usage Data
We collect information about how you interact with our platform, including jobs viewed, applications submitted, features used, and time spent on the platform.
Device Information
We automatically collect device type, operating system, browser type, IP address, and unique device identifiers to improve your experience and ensure security.
Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, analyze usage patterns, and deliver personalized content.
Recruiter Discovery, Profile Indexing & Evalia
How Profile Indexing Works
TalentApply may structure and search-index relevant parts of your job-seeker profile so recruiting companies, employers, and authorized recruiter users can search for and assess potential candidates. This may include the profile, resume, preference, and platform-derived matching information described above.
Evalia
Relevant profile information may also be made available through Evalia, a recruiter-facing platform operated by or affiliated with TalentApply. TalentApply and Evalia use this information for candidate discovery, matching, recruiter search, evaluation, and contact about relevant employment opportunities.
Recruiters and Employers
Recruiters and employers may use the information they receive to evaluate and contact you about opportunities. They may act as independent data controllers for their subsequent use of your information and should provide their own privacy information where applicable.
Lawful Basis
We process and share profile information where permitted by applicable law: to perform a contract where recruiter discovery is an expressly requested part of the service; with consent where consent is required; or for our legitimate interests in connecting job seekers with relevant recruiters, after considering whether those interests are overridden by your rights. Agreeing to our Terms does not by itself constitute consent under data protection law.
Your Visibility Choices
You may object to recruiter-discovery processing, ask us to restrict or remove your profile from recruiter discovery, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent where consent applies by emailing [email protected]. We honor objections to direct marketing.
How We Use Your Information
Provide and Improve Services
We use your data to deliver job recommendations, power AI features like resume optimization and interview practice, and continuously improve the platform.
Personalization
Your profile and activity help us match you with relevant opportunities and tailor your experience to your career goals.
Communication
We send you application updates, interview invitations, platform notifications, and (with consent) marketing communications.
Security and Compliance
We process data to detect fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.
Data Security
Encryption
All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS protocols. Sensitive data at rest is encrypted using AES-256.

We implement strict access controls and authentication measures. Only authorized personnel with a legitimate need can access personal data.

Data Sharing and Third Parties
Employers
When you apply to a job, we share your application data with the employer. We may also share relevant profile information with recruiting companies, employers, authorized recruiter users, and Evalia for the recruiter-discovery purposes described above. Recipients may be located outside the European Economic Area; where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
Service Providers
We work with trusted third-party providers for hosting, analytics, email delivery, and AI processing. These providers are contractually bound to use data only for the services we engage them for.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose data when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Never Sold
We do not sell your personal information for third-party advertising. Recruiter visibility and sharing through TalentApply and Evalia, as described in this policy, form part of our recruitment services and are not a sale for advertising purposes.
Your Rights
Access and Portability
You can request a copy of your personal data in a portable format at any time from your account settings.
Correction
You can update or correct your personal information directly through your profile and account settings.
Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated data. We will process your request within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
Objection and Restriction
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, including recruiter discovery, and request restriction where applicable. You can always object to direct marketing.
Withdraw Consent
Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
Complaints
You may lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority. If Malta is applicable to your circumstances, this includes the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC).
Data Retention
Active Accounts
We retain your data for as long as your account is active to provide you with our services.
Deleted Accounts
After account deletion, we retain data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Indexed Copies and Caches
After you change or delete profile information, object to recruiter discovery, or request removal, indexed copies and operational caches are removed or refreshed within a reasonable operational period, subject to legal retention requirements.
Anonymized Data
Aggregated and anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained for analytics and product improvement.
