About the Role The Youth Employment Service (YES) is a private–public initiative led by the Presidency to address the youth unemployment crisis in our country. Eskom is creating work opportunities for unemployed youth in South Africa by providing 12-month contracts and placing successful YES candidates in Eskom Operations across all provinces to gain valuable first work experience in the energy sector. What You'll Do
- Participate in the YES placement process and be assigned to Eskom Operations across divisions in various provinces after successful recruitment.
- Undergo the recruitment process; if successful, be placed in Eskom Operations across divisions.
- Adhere to Eskom's policies and procedures to ensure effective operation during the placement. What We're Looking For
- South African Citizen
- Aged between 18 and 34
- Grade 12 or equivalent
