About the Role St Michael's Church of England Primary School is looking for a dedicated Year 5 Class Teacher to join its vibrant team on a maternity cover contract, with effect from September 2026. We are an open and inclusive primary school, educating children between the ages of 5 and 11 years. Located in the garrison town of Larkhill, Wiltshire, our school aims to spark interest, ignite a passion for learning and fire up ambition to inspire every child to recognise and exceed expectations. What You'll Do
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons and sequences of lessons to the highest standard to ensure real learning and progress for Year 5 students.
- Collaborate with the KS2 team and contribute positively to the wider school community.
- In line with safeguarding and current Primary/KS2 initiatives, strive to raise attainment and challenge students to achieve their best.
