Job title: Well Engineering Manager Reports to: DVP, Wells Department: TECHNICAL
Job purpose The Well Engineering Manager provides the delivery framework for well drilling and intervention activities to create and protect value in OML-17.
Role:
- To Support Heirs Energies Value Creation through the delivery of new wells in OML-17.
- Leads delivery of well design, well planning and drilling operation in OML-17 according to guidelines and processes set out in international and/or local standards, and regulations.
- Ensures optimal, safe and cost effective well design is prepared, and detailed procedures are provided to the execution team.
- Supports the operations team during execution providing operational follow up, technical assistance, and troubleshooting support.
- Reviews design and /or execution optimization opportunities and coordinate its implementation.
