About the Role This role sits within BlackRock’s Private Markets Data Engineering (PMDE) team, focused on building and scaling data infrastructure and analytics capabilities. As Vice President, you’ll be a senior individual contributor and hands-on technical leader, working with business stakeholders to translate objectives into actionable data initiatives, with accountability for technical outcomes. What You'll Do
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across the PMDE team, acting as a technical authority for data architecture and engineering decisions, and fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Architect and oversee scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms with end-to-end responsibility for design, data quality, and long-term sustainment, with emphasis on Snowflake, SQL, and Python.
