About the Role Teaching Assistant to join Year 5 team at Great Totham Primary School for five mornings a week (15 hours). The role is in Key Stage 2 and starts as soon as possible in Autumn 2026. It is a permanent, part-time post within a friendly, well-established staff team. What You'll Do
- Support pupils in Year 5 with learning activities and group/1:1 support as required.
- Help manage classroom routines and establish a positive learning environment.
- Assist the teacher with planning and resource preparation.
- Contribute to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare as part of a caring school ethos. What We're Looking For
- Ideally an experienced Teaching Assistant.
- Good English and mathematics qualifications.
- Flexible with a calm and positive outlook.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent advantageous though not essential. Nice to Have
