About the Role Whitburn Church of England Academy is seeking a Mathematics teacher to deliver high-quality maths across Key Stage 3 and 4 in a permanent role. The position offers a flexible working pattern (minimum 0.6 FTE, with full-time considered) and the MPS/UPS pay scale, with additional allowances for suitable candidates. There is a strong ethos of professional development and opportunities for CPD and mentoring for ECTs. What You'll Do
- Deliver Mathematics teaching to students in Key Stage 3 and 4 and contribute to a growing Sixth Form.
- Plan sequences of learning based on strong pedagogical knowledge and curriculum requirements.
- Use a variety of assessment and review techniques to monitor progress and provide feedback.
- Utilize ICT to enhance learning and deliver engaging lessons.
- Maintain effective classroom management and high expectations for all learners.
