About the Role The Stephen Longfellow Academy is seeking an inspirational Student Welfare Officer to provide targeted, short-term interventions, support students to overcome barriers to learning, and promote positive behaviour and wellbeing. The postholder will help create a safe, supportive environment and will work collaboratively with staff to improve attendance, engagement and outcomes for students.
What You'll Do
- Provide targeted, short-term interventions to support students and remove barriers to learning
- Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing across the school community
- Work with staff to maintain a safe, supportive environment and promote safeguarding
- Contribute to improved attendance, engagement and academic outcomes for students
