About the Role Earnest is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to drive the technical strategy and execution across our engineering teams in building a scalable lending ecosystem. This role focuses on architectural leadership, customer-centered product development, and ensuring performance, security, and reliability across the platform. This is a 100% remote position. What You'll Do
- Lead the development of a scalable, high-performance lending ecosystem from customer onboarding to checkout.
- Architect and implement customer-facing lending applications using Node.js, TypeScript, React/Redux, Angular, Sequelize, PostgreSQL, and Docker.
- Develop high-quality, testable code with unit and integration tests (Mocha, Chai, Sinon, Sequelize).
