About the Role The Governor’s Office of Administrative Services is seeking a dynamic Staff Accountant to perform governmental accounting, grant disbursements, accounts payable, budgeting, and procurement in a small, collaborative team serving across the state's executive branch. This on-site role is based at the West Virginia State Capitol Building. What You'll Do
- Perform accounting and record keeping for disbursements, ensuring requests comply with applicable law, rule, and policy.
- Draft budget requests and expenditure schedules for the Governor’s Office in the wvOASIS system.
- Assist with administration of grant distributions and use the wvOASIS platform to complete financial reporting.
- Perform accounts payable work; serve as backup to the Administrative Coordinator; provide payroll accounting as needed. What We're Looking For
