Job Description
- Role Purpose: Execute Salesforce and Vlocity deployments, release validations, and environment operations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Run CI/CD pipelines, metadata and DataPack deployments
- Maintain release checklists, logs, and post deployment validations
- Troubleshoot deployment errors, dependencies, and test failures
- Skills Required:
- Core: SFDX/CLI, ANT, metadata API, Apex testing, deployment validation
- Allied: Git, CI/CD tools, Python scripting, log analysis, AI assisted troubleshooting
- Vlocity: DataPacks, IDX/VBT, OmniStudio, EPC/CPQ/OM dependencies
- Domain: Salesforce Industries release engineering
- Selection Criteria: Strong deployment discipline and release management skills
- High Value Indicator: Identifies dependencies early to prevent deployment issues
