Summary:
Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineer II for the Commercial Engineering & AI (CEAI) team. The role focuses on building AI-powered support applications and data platforms using Microsoft Azure services.
Responsibilities include developing scalable data pipelines, building cloud data platforms with Azure technologies, creating AI-driven analytics tools, improving data quality and governance, and developing secure, reliable software using SQL, Python, or C#.
Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, 2+ years of software or data engineering experience, and experience with cloud platforms and data pipelines. Knowledge of Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, AI/LLM systems, and modern data architectures is preferred.
