About the Role As a Software Engineer in Caterpillar's CTCT delivery team, you’ll help craft dynamic, cross-platform system features for heavy equipment users. The role focuses on developing high-quality software that meets customer needs and helps operators, technicians and owners work more efficiently, effectively, and competitively. The CTCT division (a joint venture between Trimble and Caterpillar) develops positioning and control products for earthmoving and paving machines, using technologies such as GPS, optical total stations, lasers and sonics. - Create dynamic, cross-platform, system features that help heavy equipment owners, operators, and technicians do their jobs more efficiently, more effectively, and better than the competition.
- Be accountable for development of high quality software that hits the mark for what customers need.
