About the Role Mozilla Corporation is seeking a talented software developer to join the Accessibility Team and help make the web accessible to users of diverse abilities. You’ll contribute to the core Gecko accessibility engine across multiple operating systems and collaborate with browser, design, and frontend teams to improve accessibility features and performance. What You'll Do
- Improve the architecture, stability, correctness and performance of the core Gecko accessibility engine.
- Debug and fix problems in our multi-process and multi-threaded codebase.
- Debug OS specific issues.
- Build excellent working relationships with engineers and organizational leaders on other teams.
- Collaborate with design and front-end teams to identify, assess, and remediate accessibility issues.
- Influence web standards that provide or improve access to new web technology.
