About the Role Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS) is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver software solutions for DoD/DoW customers, collaborating with data scientists and data engineers to prototype applications and deploy ML/AI-enabled capabilities for mission-critical operations. The role requires technical depth, initiative, and creativity to develop novel solutions. This hybrid role is based in the Washington, DC area.
What You'll Do
- Lead projects and mentor less experienced developers.
- Collaborate with the TRSS development team to design, implement, and deliver software solutions and data science efforts.
- Enhance and support existing applications.
- Engage the TRSS analytical staff to gather requirements, generate ideas, and develop documentation.
- Demo new software solutions as needed.
