Summary:
Microsoft is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Microsoft Advertising team. The role focuses on building scalable data solutions, improving data analytics, and using insights to support advertising decisions.
Responsibilities include designing data models, developing and maintaining data pipelines, improving data quality, analyzing large datasets, ensuring system security and scalability, and mentoring other engineers.
Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, 4+ years of software engineering experience, and programming skills in languages such as C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. Experience with data engineering, SQL, Apache Spark, Hadoop, cloud platforms, Azure, machine learning, data visualization, and containerization tools is preferred.
Work setup: Hybrid (4 days/week in office)
