Summary:
Microsoft is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Microsoft Advertising Mediation Service (MMS) team. The role focuses on building and scaling a real-time advertising auction and mediation platform that handles global traffic across Azure regions.
Responsibilities include designing high-performance Go services, improving real-time bidding systems, building auction and experimentation frameworks, optimizing Azure infrastructure, improving reliability and observability, and mentoring engineers.
Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, 4+ years of software engineering experience, and strong programming skills. Preferred experience includes Go, distributed systems, real-time bidding platforms, OpenRTB, Kubernetes, Azure services, low-latency backend systems, and large-scale experimentation platforms.
