About the Role Mercury is building Command, an LLM-powered financial assistant that helps customers understand their finances and take action in plain language. You will design and ship new capabilities, architect multi-step agent workflows, and own the end-to-end experience—from system prompts to frontend rendering and post-launch monitoring. What You'll Do
- Design and ship new Command skills for workflows like sending money, managing invoices, and understanding cash flow.
- Design and build agentic workflows, defining architecture for multi-step interactions with customers on Mercury's behalf.
- Define tool schemas and data contracts with backend teams; own capabilities end-to-end from system prompts to UI rendering.
- Own the LLM layer: maintain prompt architecture, skill loading, session context, policy and compliance layers.
