The Social Justice and Training Department, in the National Office, has a vacancy for a Senior Researcher. Purpose: The Senior Researcher serves a two-tiered function.
Firstly, the function supports the Researchers in the proactive analysis of prominent indicators/trends/themes arising at any given time in the labour market. The Senior Researcher is also responsible for the development of pre-emptive or situational labour market monitoring tools (such as conflict predictive tools, barometers, economic dashboards, etc.), the running/development of forecast analyses or predictive modelling tools and the proactive operational alignment of the Research function with best practice, in consortium with the Manager’s strategic oversight as determined by the applicable CCMA five (05) year Organisational Strategy.
