About the Role PacifiCorp is seeking a Senior General Accountant to provide professional accounting services and support regulatory reporting. The role involves preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, work papers, and management reports, and contributing to financial, tax, and regulatory filings with FERC, SEC, and state commissions. What You'll Do
- Compile data, analyze and interpret financial results (balance sheets, statements of operations, statements of cash flows)
- Prepare and review PacifiCorp’s annual and quarterly reports filed with FERC, including FERC financial statements and review of consolidating entries for the FERC
- Compile, analyze, and interpret data for SEC filings and state regulatory commission submissions
- Research and interpret accounting and taxation rules from governmental and regulatory bodies
