About this role
What We Can Achieve Together:
- Provides legal services on complex matters to advance Conservancy priorities and appropriately manage risk.
- Provides legal services on complex matters for assigned programs. Ensures that transactions and activities are legally sound and consistent with the Conservancy’s mission, authority, policies, and procedures. Clearly articulates complex legal concepts and options to assigned programs.
- This is a hybrid role where the chosen candidate is expected to work at the TNC South Africa office located in in Tokai, Cape Town.
RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE
- Assists in structuring activities to most effectively achieve Conservancy goals.
- Reviews organizational documents and prepares and examines contracts which may involve government grants, leases, licenses, purchases, sales, insurance, easements, etc.
