About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of Hawaii accounting department, including month-end and year-end close processes, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Assistant Accounting Manager with Accounts Receivable oversight
- Support the Accounts Payable Manager
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with cash management
- Supervise and mentor junior accountants or accounting staff
- Support audits (internal and external) by providing necessary documentation and responses
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and relevant laws and regulations
