About this role
About the Role The Senior Accountant will manage accounting operations, maintain the general ledgers, ensure compliance with US GAAP, Danaher accounting policies, and regulatory requirements, and deliver insightful financial analysis to support business decisions. This on-site role, reporting to the Assistant Controller, is based in San Jose, CA and supports the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting. What You'll Do
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile monthly general ledger balances for assigned balance sheet accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Own US balance sheet flux analysis and maintain key working capital data points.
- Analyze financial results and provide detailed variance explanations for balance sheet accounts to management.
