Senior Accountant
ASRC Federal is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is responsible for supporting the organization's accounting operations, financial reporting, technical accounting research, and month-end close processes while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and company policies. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, extensive experience with financial reporting, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and post accurate and timely journal entries.
- Lead and support month-end and year-end close activities.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for accounting transactions.
