Safety Officer
Description
- The Safety Officer is responsible for driving compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
- The role supports the prevention of workplace incidents, road traffic accidents, and operational hazards through proactive risk management, safety inspections, incident investigations, employee engagement, and regulatory compliance.
- The position also provides oversight on driver fitness and fatigue-related risks as part of overall safety management.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with company HSE policies, procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections, audits, and safety observations to identify hazards, unsafe acts, and non-compliance issues, ensuring timely corrective actions.
