The officer safeguards product integrity, consumer safety, and the company’s reputation by monitoring, auditing, and enforcing compliance practices.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance:
- Monitor and interpret food safety laws, regulations, and standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, NAFDAC).
- Ensure factory operations comply with government regulations and certification requirements.
- Prepare and submit regulatory documentation, permits and licenses.
Policy Development:
- Develop, implement, and update compliance policies and procedures.
- Train staff on regulatory requirements, hygiene practices and compliance protocols.
