Job title: Project Accountant
We are seeking a Project Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, oversee project finance and budgeting, ensure compliance with donor requirements, and support audits for projects based in Abuja (FCT).
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and bookkeeping systems.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and audit requirements.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for projects.
- Oversee financial planning and execution of projects.
- Monitor project budgets and ensure efficient utilization of funds.
- Provide financial insights to support project decision-making.
- Track and report project expenditures against approved budgets.
- Liaise with donors, partners, and funding organizations.
