About the Role The Gallery Trust is seeking a Part-time Pastoral Support Worker to provide pastoral and therapeutic support to students with special needs in a SEND school. The role involves setting boundaries for learners with challenging behaviours, using behaviour management strategies, and contributing to personalised pathways to engage learning and develop social and independence skills. You may undertake restrictive physical interventions following training and will work with colleagues to support pupils across a range of settings. What You'll Do
- Manage and deliver pastoral and therapeutic support to students and prepare them emotionally and physically to engage with teaching and learning.
- Address the needs of students who require help to overcome barriers to learning, including key working on a personalised pathway.
