About this role
About the Role To assure the effectiveness and profitability of a cable products life cycle from inception to end of life, including the initial quote phase, NPI activities, and flawless production launch, with focus on cost reductions and manufacturing optimization. To actively participate in Product Development and Design, providing support to the NPD teams and manufacturing facility as needed. To assure delivery, cost and performance through planning and the development of prevention and detection controls for new products, product changes and product transfers, supporting plant metrics. What You'll Do
- Engages with forward facing cable product BDMs on new opportunities to determine project validity, alignment to plant capabilities, and acceptance to move to quoting phase
