About the Role Swiss Re is seeking a Marine Underwriter to join its Marine & Energy Treaty team in London. The role offers ownership of underwriting Marine treaty reinsurance work, delivering sound decisions and excellent service to clients and brokers. You will contribute to portfolio growth and work with experienced colleagues to strengthen market knowledge. What You'll Do
- Analyze and assess treaty reinsurance submissions, evaluating exposures, coverage, and pricing to identify and negotiate the best underwriting position for Swiss Re.
- Underwrite Marine treaty reinsurance across Cargo, Hull, Liability, Energy, and PVT, including preparing quotations, proposals, wordings, and clauses.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and brokers, identifying opportunities to deepen partnerships and support cross-selling across other lines.
