About the Role The Lead Estimator is responsible for overseeing the preparation of accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects. This roleCoordinates with multiple departments to ensure estimates align with company standards and client expectations, and plays a crucial role in the bidding process to secure profitable projects while maintaining competitive pricing. What You'll Do
- Implement and oversee district estimating program and activities including the development of policies and procedures.
- Assist district manager in the review of all estimates; arrange and coordinate second estimates, maintain past cost history and comparable details.
- Maintain training program for estimating staff, update and maintain lead estimator and sponsor manuals, and supervise district scheduling department.
