Job Description
- Sort, wash, dry, iron, fold, and store clothes, linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, irons, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Use appropriate detergents, disinfectants, and other cleaning products according to instructions.
- Inspect laundry items for stains, damage, or wear and report issues to the supervisor.
- Keep accurate records of laundry received, processed, and returned where required.
- Maintain the laundry area, equipment, and supplies in a clean and organized condition.
- Ensure clean laundry is properly folded, stored, and distributed to the appropriate departments or individuals.
Cleaning Duties
- Clean and sanitize offices, rooms, bathrooms, corridors, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
