About the Team DoorDash is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Discovery Experience team, which owns the Homepage - DoorDash’s front door. It’s the first screen millions of consumers see every day, and since every session starts there, it’s the highest-leverage surface in the consumer funnel: a more personalized recommendation, a faster render, or a cleaner layout can move the metrics the whole company watches.
The Homepage spans restaurants, grocery, and emerging verticals across iOS, Android, and Web. We’re rebuilding it around LLM-generated recommendations, shifting discovery from static, rules-based feeds to generative, intent-driven experiences that respond to real-time signals in the moment.
