The job
Responsible for shortening and optimizing software development cycles and automating manual maintenance and security processes. A DevOps engineer’s roles and responsibilities are a combination of technical and management roles. It is essential to have excellent communication and coordination skills to successfully integrate various functions in a coordinated manner.
Key responsibilities
- Automate configuration management and deployment of applications using the best practices of CI/CD
- Build, test, and maintain tools to allow for the speedy development and release of the software.
- Create and deploy optimizations;
- Work with developers and other teams from different departments to oversee the code releases, combining an understanding of both engineering and coding, in order to increase productivity in the workplace.
