DC Dispatch Supervisor - KZN DC
Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ in KZN DC - New Germany has an opportunity available for a DC Dispatch Supervisor to join the team. The main purpose of this role will be to achieve operational excellence within the Dis-Chem Warehouse incorporating functions in the following areas, order consolidation, route planning, dispatch both Local and Line-haul, returns, vehicle maintenance and in so doing ensure that both legal and customer requirements, are met.
Minimum Requirements: Essential: Grade 12 / Matric Transport Management or Supply-Chain / Logistics Degree or Diploma Advantageous: 2 Years relevant experience, in a Distribution, Logistics or Supply Chain Environment
Job Specification: Ensure optimal route and space planning to meet the day-to-day strategic objectives. Understand and execute the planning process involved when stock leaves the distribution centre.
