About this role
About the Role Cover Supervisors supervise classes in the short-term absence of the class teacher under the guidance of teaching/senior staff, provide in-class support across designated subject areas, and assist with planning and administration. The role is based at Plantsbrook School in Sutton Coldfield and forms part of the Broadleaf Partnership Trust. This is a term-time position with a 32.5-hour week (8.20am – 3.20pm, 30-minute lunch). What You'll Do
- Supervise whole class to undertake pre-set work and/or activities during the absence of the regular teacher.
- Take register – paper or electronic.
- Begin and end the lesson in line with school guidance, ensuring students are provided with the necessary resources for their learning.
- Maintain good order and manage pupil behaviour and deal promptly with conflict and incidents in line with established school policy.
