About the Role We are seeking a part-time Class Teacher (0.6FTE) to cover maternity leave at Northgate Primary School. The role is to deliver high-quality teaching while upholding the school’s values, with duties running on a Wednesday–Friday timetable. What You'll Do
- Deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 in line with the national curriculum
- Be child-centred and committed to the ethos of the school
- Work as part of a collaborative team, reviewing practice and striving for excellence
- Support a diverse range of needs, including special educational needs, and adapt approaches accordingly
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and wellbeing, ensuring pupils feel safe and valued
- Contribute to school improvement and participate in CPD opportunities
