About the Role The Driver is responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of gas cylinders to customers. This role ensures accurate loading, unloading, compliance with TDG safety regulations, and proper documentation to support safe and efficient operations.
What You'll Do
- Load and unload cylinders, count and record quantities and styles of product to ensure actual load aligns with shipping documents
- Check and placard vehicle according to Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations
- Follow operating and safety procedures while completing tasks
- Complete shipping orders and related paperwork, including trip reports and fuel tickets
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, noting and reporting defects to supervisor; identify repair/maintenance needs
