About the Role Wallingford School is looking for a Catering Assistant to support the daily provision of healthy meals and help maintain food hygiene in the kitchen. The role works under the Catering Supervisor and is offered on a permanent, term-time-only basis, 25 hours per week at £12.65 per hour. The position starts September 2026; DBS check and UK eligibility are required, and visas cannot be sponsored. What You'll Do
- Assist in the preparation and service of daily meals to pupils and staff
- Help maintain food hygiene standards and kitchen cleanliness in line with food safety policies
- Work with the Catering Supervisor to ensure meals are delivered efficiently during term-time
- Follow safeguarding policies and complete required checks (enhanced DBS) prior to employment
