About the Role A Business Analyst role focusing on insurance data and technology initiatives at EXL. You will elicit, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional specifications, and partner with business, technology, QA, and data engineering teams to enable successful delivery. What You'll Do
- Elicit requirements, analyze data, and document specifications to shape project scope.
- Translate business needs into BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data mapping documents.
- Support data/interface mapping and collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, SMEs, data engineers, QA, and technology partners. What We're Looking For
- 7+ years experience as a business/system/data analyst, with 2–3 years in insurance domain.
- Strong requirements elicitation, SQL/data analysis, BRD/FRD and user story documentation skills.
