Job Summary
- The Account & Audit Officer is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, monitoring internal controls, and supporting audits.
- The role ensures that all financial activities are transparent, compliant, and aligned with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Functions:
- Record daily financial transactions (sales, expenses, payments, receipts)
- Maintain accurate cashbook, ledger, and bank records
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Monitor cash flow and report shortages or irregularities
Audit & Control:
- Conduct routine internal audits on sales, stock, and cash handling
- Verify all transactions to prevent fraud or errors
