Job title: Accountant
We are seeking an Accountant to manage financial records, support audits and compliance, assist with budgeting and analysis, and handle day-to-day accounting operations for the company in Lagos.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger and day-to-day accounting records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
- Ensure timely tax filings and statutory compliance.
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Provide financial insights and reports to management.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Monitor cash flow and perform bank reconciliations.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Requirements
- HND/B.Sc. Degree in Accounting or a related field.
