About this role
Overview: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage daily financial operations, maintain accurate accounting records, and support financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, and a good understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
- Prepare and process payments, invoices, receipts, and journal entries.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.
- Support external audits by preparing required financial documents.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and monitor asset records.
